Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849),
our first American poet of any note, was more
importantly to me, the father of the horror
genre. This 16 x 22” oil on canvas is, as of
this posting, still on consignment for
$150 at Mystery and Imagination Bookstore
in Glendale, CA, a fan-friendly, family-owned
bookstore named after Poe’s most famous collection.
It was unveiled there on August 22, ‘09, at Ray Bradbury’s
89th birthday party, and is one of only two paintings in
these galleries that have not been sold.
