George Clayton Johnson

George Clayton Johnson (1920 - ), author of the original Ocean’s Eleven, eight classic Twilight Zones, the debut Star Trek episode, and the novel, “Logan’s Run,” is a good friend. He granted me an interview that’s still on-line at mondocult.com. He also helped me get an article published in Cemetery Dance Magazine covering the California Sorcery book signing — which was a reunion of the Charles Beaumont California writers group. George appears in both The Boneyard Collection and Crustacean, and played a serious role in Roger Corman’s 1963 social issue movie, “The Intruder.” I gave him this oil portrait at one of Forry’s parties — many say it’s my best painting ever.
